Kenya Police FC head coach John Bobby Ogolla has revealed how he ended up at the club despite being out of the coaching limelight since 2016.Before joining Police, the former Gor Mahia player had been out of coaching action since parting ways with Muhoroni Youth five years ago in the second leg, a season after he had been in charge of Nairobi City StarsThe former Sofapaka tactician joined the Law Enforcers in July this year and was in charge of the last ten games as the team sought to get promoted to the Premier League, a feat they achieved through the Promotion/Relegation playoff as they dislodged Vihiga United.Gor Mahia Legend John Bobby Ogolla has been named the new Kenya Police FC Headcoach. He called me and told me that they were in the National Super League and they had ambitions of getting to the Premier League. I told him that I had been out of football for a while but football remained my life and I could not turn down the offer. That whole week I was with them in training but I did not interfere because I wanted to see how they do their thing. After that game, I told them that they needed to have confidence in themselves and that is how we managed,” he added.
