Mutamba eyes redemption after completing Nepali switch

Former Sofapaka striker Pistone Mutamba has joined Nepali side, Himalayan Sherpa Club on a season-long loan deal, Mozzart Sport can report.The industrious attacker has been club-less since August when he opted to terminate his contract with Sofapaka over nonpayment of his salary. He has now moved to the Asian nation with Sherpa where he will be seeking to hit the ground running.“I can confirm that I have joined Himalayan Sherpa. In the end, the goal is to get better offers and as such, I first must do my best here for the success of the team and the rest will follow,” he added.Based in the city of Kathmandu, Sherpa competes in the Martyr’s Memorial A-Division, the top tier of the Nepalese league. They play at the 30,000-capacity sitter, Dasarath Rangasala Stadium. The team has never won the league title but has a couple of Cup titles to its name.Early this year, Mutamba was expected to join the Libyan side, Asswehly FC but the deal fell through in the final stages after Bidco United, then his employer refused to let him leave the club on the Bossman. He then returned to the country and joined Batoto ba Mungu.
