Football Kenya Federation (FKF) CEO Barry Otieno was nabbed on Saturday night by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives who were in his trail as the crackdown on federation officials over embezzlement of funds continues.The entire FKF office was sent packing when the Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed, based on recommendations from the FKF audit committee disbanded the federation and named a caretaker committee that will run football activities in the country for the next six months before paving way for elections.FKF remained defiant and what followed was the arrest of beleaguered president Nick Mwendwa on Friday, he is currently being held at the Gigiri Police Station awaiting his arraignment on Monday morning.UPDATE: Kenya FA (FKF) Secretary General Barry Otieno has been arrested by police a few minutes ago.— Francis Gaitho (@FrancisGaitho) November 13, 2021 Otieno will also spend the night behind bars after detectives pounced on him on Saturday night after hours of a long search.
