FC Talanta winger Michael Jairo has admitted that he is under pressure to open his Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) goal account after unsuccessfully trying in the first four rounds of the season.The attacking midfielder was expected to take top flight football by storm courtesy of the form he had displayed in the second tier but before the league went on break, he was still in search for his first goal in the competition.Jairo who consider former Harambee Stars captain and all-time top scorer Dennis Oliech as his role model conceded that pressure was pilling on his shoulders after watching his fellow forwards score to keep the team in the top ten bracket.The former Kariobangi Youth player who joined the league newbies in 2019 played their opening four matches against Wazito, KCB, Vihiga Bullets and Tusker but missed their 3-0 defeat to Bandari and 2-2 draw against Ulinzi thanks to a head injury suffered while in action against Tusker at the Ruaraka grounds.Match halted. It is my duty as a forward to score goals and hopefully I will hit the ground running when we resume and help the team get back to winning ways after the draw to Ulinzi and loss to Bandari,” he said.Meanwhile, the player who is hopeful of turning professional in the near future revealed that he had set a target of seven goals and a basketful of assists this season.
