AFC Leopards’ new signing Eugene “Pedro” Musilwa is happy to be back at the club and wants to make the most out of his second stint at the den.The winger was one of the players that were acquired on deadline by Ingwe as they moved to replace the 17 players that they lost during the off-season transfer window due to financial problems. Leopards had to work hard to have the transfer embargo that had been slapped on the club by FIFA for failing to pay their former players and coach.Pedro had a brief stint with Ingwe in 2015 before he left and he says an opportunity to play for the Patrick Aussems led team is one he will grab with both arms.AFC Leopards new signings. 1). Leopards is a team close to my heart and getting a second chance to play for this great club is one that I am grateful for, I am here to give 100% and play a part in the success of the team,” the skillful wideman told Mozzart Sport. With the league taking a break after it was suspended by the FKF caretaker committee, Musilwa is using this period to hit top form again by training extra hard both during the team’s sessions and on his own.“I am putting in extra work after the team’s training, I do a lot of personal training because I want to be in the best shape in terms of match-preparedness. I have a personal fitness trainer who has been doing a good job with me and I know that I will be at my optimum best when the league resumes. Last week I played a full 9 minutes in a friendly match and I felt good and slowly by slowly I will keep improving,” he added.SUBSTITUTES: Ali Kesi, Duncan Otieno, Eugene Musilwa, Solomon Nasio, Khalid Jumaan, Kabemba Mata, Victor Omune #OursForever— AFC Leopards (@AFCLeopards) October 14, 2015 A product of Kibra-based Soka Talent Academy, Musilwa has played for FISA Academy, Kibera Black Stars and had brief stints with various amateur sides in Eastern Europe.
