Long serving KCB creative midfielder Samuel Mwangi has laid bare his dream of guiding the club to an historic double this season.The bankers have never won a major title since their since but have come close in the past, precisely last season where they finished as runner up in the league and made to the quarter final of the Cup in 2019.Mwangi who is in his eighth season at the club conceded that the pressure to toast a trophy was peaking and a double would be a perfect reward to the management for the sound investment in the team. We nearly won the league last season but fell in the final rounds. We learnt from our mistakes and can’t afford to repeat them this time round,”he said. Mwangi joined KCB in 2014 from Strathmore University and has never given away his allegiance, despite the interests from Posta Rangers and Ushuru at some point in 2016.There was massive exodus of players at the Ruaraka based club five years when the relegation axe fell on them with only a few lieutenants resisting the urge to remain in the top flight.##NAJAVA_MECA_5991089##”I have always felt that I am in the right team that suits my style of play. I had the option of leaving sometimes back but I glad that I chose to stay.
