The 2021/2022 Football Kenya Federation Premier League may currently be missing in action due to the two week suspension imposed by the government appointed caretaker committee but is certainly not lacking in off field drama, at least going by happenings at the home of 12-time Kenyan champions AFC Leopards. On Sunday morning, Ingwe head coach Patrick Aussems went on one of his typical social media rants as he revealed a myriad of challenges the team is going through at the moment with those who are supposed to be at their rescue seemingly abandoning them while displaying a ‘lack of professionalism’ and being ‘careless’ according to the Belgian tactician.CLUB UPDATE AFC Leopards SC endorses and supports the appointment of Justice(Rtd) Aaron Ringera and his committee https://t.co/UhgomRSPZL— AFC Leopards (@AFCLeopards) November 15, 2021 In his Twitter post, the former Simba boss revealed that the on field struggles the team is having is not just down to pitch related performances. Aussems stated that the players, the staff and the technical bench are not being paid salaries neither are they being furnished with allowances apart from other daily issues which has carried over to poor performances on the pitch and have prevented the team from working properly.“The technical bench, the staff and the players are facing many challenges (no salaries, no allowances, daily issues…) which prevent the group from working properly. Carelessness of some people? Lack of professionalism? Hopefully this situation will be fixed as quickly as possible,” the head coach posted. The technical bench, the staff and the players are facing many challenges (no salaries,no allowances, daily issues…) which prevent the group from working properly.
