His season was extended as he was named in the Harambee Stars squad for the opening clashes of the FIFA 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers and had to start this campaign early as Tusker were involved in the Champions League qualifiers. The former Kakamega Homeboyz defender however admitted that the squad was psyched up for the KCB clash as they aimed to bounce back from their 3-0 thumping at the hands of Kariobangi Sharks last time out. ➡️| @tusker_fc have confirmed the signing of Brian Bwire and Daniel Sakari from @k_sharksfc #FKFPL pic.twitter.com/D9xnpGO8lI— FKF Premier League (@Officialfkfpl) September 8, 2021 “We had psyched ourselves up with the KCB game that was supposed to be last Friday before we take on CS Sfaxien instead of playing friendlies,”“The break has also given us time to train well together as a team because mostly it was mostly one or two days training then we have a game and some of the players had injuries,” added Sakari.
