Kariobangi Sharks head coach William Muluya will have to do without the services of his goalkeeper John Otieno for another month as custodian is scheduled to undergo four-week long rehabilitation session.Otieno was initially set to sidelined for a month after suffering a proximal phalanx fracture while in training but the club doctor John Kemboi says the shot stopper is weeks away from full recovery.Kemboi disclosed that after getting rid of the cast on Tuesday and the subsequent scans conducted that he elected to subject the goalkeeper for a month long rehabilitation.”Otieno will be out for another month as we don’t want to rush him. We will put him on rehabilitation so that he is fully ready to face shots in training and on match days,” he confirmed.Otieno joined the former Football Kenya Federation Cup holders before the season began from the relegated National Super League side Kisumu Hotstars.Sharks had to strengthen the department after their first choice goalkeeper Brian Bwire ditched the club for champions Tusker who openly displayed their financial muscle in the window by acquiring more than ten players.
