CAF CC: Ibrah promises to put Sfaxien to the sword

Tusker forward Ibrahim Joshua has promised to deliver at least two goals in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup playoff tie against Tunisian giants CS Sfaxien this Sunday at the Nyayo National Stadium. The Kenyan champions will be seeking to capitalize on home advantage and bag a convincing win against the visitors who jetted in on Thursday morning so as to edge closer to the group stages of the tournament. The brewers struggle in front of the goal in the second round of the CAF Champions League against Egyptian side Zamalek and were consequently tossed out of the top tier showpiece after falling 5-0 on aggregate to the continental giants.Ahead of the Sfaxien tie, Ibrahim who opened his league goal account against debutants Kenya Police early this month has pledged to shoulder the scoring responsibilities by netting at least twice.Ibrahim Joshua has had a goal involvement in all our last three matches.🅰️| vs Talanta🅰️| vs Wazito⚽️| vs Kenya Police #KenyaMilele #Brewers4Life pic.twitter.com/Kexnwch83V— 🏆Tusker FC (@tusker_fc) November 3, 2021 The Tanzanian national who joined the Ruaraka based club before the season began from second-tier outfit Ken Gold FC said the break from active football gave him time to sharpen his scoring skills and remained confident of breaching the Sfaxien wall and kissing their net.“I understand my responsibilities well and in this regard, I have set a target of getting my name on the score sheet at least twice.
