With proper planning and investing, women’s leagues will have an instant impact. As we all know Harambee Starlets could be in the World Cup soon and a strong women’s league will be very beneficial to that effect. On behalf of other women teams, we assure the caretaker committee of our full support. We also hope they will allow women clubs to have an independent body to run their leagues as KPL did. We believe the caretaker will get sponsorship for our leagues,” Ariko said.Falcons were relegated from the top flight at the end of the last campaign and are aiming at giving their best shot in the Women Division One league to earn back their Premier League status.
