Detained Gor Mahia duo expected in training tomorrow after Congo release

Gor Mahia pair of Jules Ulimwengu and John Ochieng are on their way back home from Congo after Gor managed to negotiate for their release from quarantine in Congo Brazzaville.The duo allegedly tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday just before the team played Congolese side Otoho in a CAF Confederation Cup first-leg playoff tie. They missed the match that Gor went on to lose 1-0 and have all to play for the second leg that will be staged at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday 5th December.As Gor left for Kenya on Monday, the two were detained in quarantine much to the shock of the Gor Mahia contingent. This is a massive boost for Gor who already have a lean squad of 15 players and the pair’s absence would have further derailed their quest to turn the tie around on Sunday.“UPDATE Good news!
