Team Ping suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of MUFYA FC in the first semi-final of the Patrick Oboya Cup with head coach Alex Kibena now aiming for a third-place finish. That however does not change the fact that MUFYA are a good team and we lost,”“We enjoyed the game and the semi-finals was a good one between two prepared sides and one of them took their chances, we will try our best to finish third in the tournament,” said Kibena. The third-place playoffs is pencilled for Saturday 11 December at the Police Band Grounds in South B with the finals set for a day later.
