Otieno reveals his target in his final year as a Shark

Patrick Otieno is aiming at running down his final year at Kariobangi Sharks in style by becoming the third player from the club to clinch the top flight’s ‘Golden Boot’. Sharks has produced the top scorer thrice since making their debut at the top level in 2017 and have two of their players already vying for the individual award.Felix Oluoch who is the competition’s leading scorer with six goals has already declared his intentions of collecting the award at the end of the season. Otieno has two goals against his name this season having forced the ball past the line against Tusker and last weekend against Nairobi City Stars.“I will be going for the boot this season. Sharks have been riding on good form this season having won five of their league matches and subsequently sit at the apex of the log with sixteen points.“The rivalry between me and my teammates who also want the boot will benefit the team for the goals will win matches for us. The more we score, the more the team will collect points. It is also my wish to win the league title,” he added.
