KCB midfielder Michael Mutinda returned to the scoresheet on Sunday in the 3-1 win over Vihiga Bullets and has dedicated the goal to his late father. I didn’t believe it, it was something that I have been fighting for then it happened so I was left speechless,”“I dedicate the goal to my late father, he was my number one fan. He would provide anything that I would ask for. In High School he would miss visiting days but would never miss school games which he had to travel to Western Kenya to watch,” said Mutinda. The lanky midfielder lost his dad back in September and missed a number of games but has returned a different beast this season helping KCB regain their footing after a tough start to the season. Despite a 3-1 victory, Mutinda revealed that the game was not a walk in the pack with KCB struggling against “lesser” opposition in the recent past.
