Posta Rangers midfielder Vincent Wasambo has cautioned his teammates against assuming that they will easily skin AFC Leopards alive when the two sides clash onThursday in a league match. Leopards who are languishing deep in the red zone have been on the receiving end of the wrath of opponents in the league having lost five consecutive matches. Before the league was halted, Posta were on top of their game and head to the match as the clear favourites having thrashed Nzoia Sugar 3-0 at Sudi Stadium in round six. However, Wasambo feels that Ingwe will give their all in a bid to unhook from the jaws of relegation and cool the tempers from their fans base that hasn’t hid from expressing frustration with the results from the time the government allowed fans to troop back to the stands. The former Kariobangi Sharks midfielder called on his teammates to take their chances and defend as a unit so as to bag their fourth win and scale back to the top five bracket.🔄 | That Vincent Wasambo turn left everyone looking for the brake pedal 🔥#WeAreSharks pic.twitter.com/rO0HlLz2RM— Kariobangi Sharks FC (@k_sharksfc) August 4, 2020 “This has always been a difficult fixture and nothing has changed just because our opponents have not been getting positive results. We have to accord them the respect they deserve and play as a unit so as to get a win. They will come into the match with the intention of saving their faces and thus, we have to give our best until the final whistle,” said the former U23 midfielder.Take a glance at our goals thats secured us the maximum points at sudi stadium yesterday 🆚 @nzoiasugarfc2Total brilliance.Whats your favorite!Comment bellow⬇#WeAreTheMailMen pic.twitter.com/eBzyF9oxXZ— Posta Rangers Football Club (@posta_rangers) November 7, 2021 Rangers who recruited heavily in the transfer window had begun reaping returns on the investments as the team that spend the previous season fighting to remain in the league has stuck in the top ten bracket.Wasambo who is among the first timers at the club after joining from KCB reckons that the depth at the club has the quality to muscle for the league title.
