Eto’o wins Cameroon football elections

Former Barcelona and Inter Milan forward Samuel Eto’o has been elected as the new president of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) by a landslide victory. The 40-year-old was the overwhelming favourite heading into the polls held on Saturday 11 December as he floored the incumbent Seidou Mbombo Njoya by a sizable margin.BREAKING: Samuel Eto’o has been elected as the President of the Cameroon 🇨🇲 Football Federation. Samuel Eto’o garnered 43 votes as compared to the incumbent Seidou Mbombo Njoya’s 31.
