Tusker FC striker David Majak is set to return to the club in January after six months in Sweden where he had signed for top tier side, Kalmar FF.The South Sudanese international moved to Kalmar in May 2021 and was later loaned out to IFK Luleå. At Lulea he featured in 12 games and found the back of the net three times. The agreement was that the player would be acquired permanently by Kalmar is he impressed during the trial period.“David Majak appeared as an interesting alternative from last season. Given the situation in society, we know that it takes time with different conditions, and we felt that we did not want to stress out a decision. David is now coming here on a six-month loan from Tusker FC, and in this way we get the opportunity to see him in our environment in peace and quiet and evaluate accordingly,” Sports Manager Jorgen Petersson said.South Sudan striker David Majak is set to return to Tusker at the end of his loan spell at Swedish side Kalmar FF. He is expected to rejoin the Brewers in January.— Japheth Mutinda (@JaphMutinda) December 12, 2021 “We see it as a very favorable solution for Kalmar FF, where in the next stage we have an exclusive option to make a permanent transfer for the 2022 season at the end of the loan period. That decision is entirely in the hands of Kalmar FF,” he added. It appears that the striker did not impress at Kalmar and is back in the country where he is set to link up with Tusker FC. Tusker CEO Charles Obiny has confirmed that the player is back from Sweden and will be registered once the mid-season window swings open.”Majak is back in the country and he will rejoin the team. We tried to request for his ITC online but it will only be approved in January when the transfer window opens and so for now we will have to wait until January to integrate him back into the team,” he stated. His return is massive boost for the Brewers who are struggling with goals this season. They lost Henry Meja who moved to Sweden and Boniface Muchiri has decided to join the military dealing their attack a further blow.
