To close of the first half the stomping home side added a third – Rodri found Kevin De Bruyne and the Belgian knocked the ball past the goalkeeper with a low shot.Agony for the visitors continues shortly after the break. In the 49th minute Mahrez took advantage of a deflection and there was nothing Meslier could have done to save that one. Leeds seemed lost throughout the match and the fact they missed some of their most important players (Bamford, Cooper, Koch, Phillips, Rodrigo, Struijk) added to the misery.At the hour-mark, Man City continued putting more salt to the wound of Leeds. Ruthless De Bruyne made it 5-0 after a wonderful long distance shot.After that – City defenders took the stage – John Stones added a sixth before Nathan Aké headed in the seventh moments later. Table toppers could not have wanted a better night of football for themselves and for their home crowd.At least for tonight, the win for the Cityzens extends their lead at the top of the Premier League table by four points. Their closest followers – Liverpool and Chelsea – play their games on Thursday night.As far as Leeds go, this was Bielsa 160th game in charge of the team and he will try to forget it as soon as possible.
