If there is a club in the world who is forcing it’s youth generation, it’s Barcelona. Gavi, Pedri, Fati, Demir, Puig and some others have already experienced La Liga and Champions League matches in the first 11, and it’s the combination of their talent and Barca’s desperate financial state which brought them there, but nevertheless, they are playing. But even Barca’s manager Xavi had to admit that the club has a number of youth players which sometimes make mistakes. Experienced players are needed, apart from Busquets, Pique and Alves. The progress in negotiations is minimal, as both clubs are not prepared to move: The Citizens are asking 7.6 billion, the Catalonians can only give 5.7.
