Unfortunately, none of the clubs has come forward to write to us or even present evidence that contrasts that of the match commissioner and thus it is difficult to take action. Clubs have the tendency of complaining verbally and rushing to the sections of the media to criticize referees and at the end of the day status quo remains. I encourage them to do things the formal way,” he said.Financially stricken clubs yet to receive money from FKF caretaker committeeTo address the elephant in the room, Amour revealed that the committee was on the course to establish a referee’s table meant to take stock of their performance. The administrator while acknowledging the need to have the matches beamed so as to capture each and every moment on the pitch said plans were underway to have the referees retrained on the basics.“We have heard the complains and we will come up with a referee’s table aimed at evaluating their performance. Every other serious league out there has a table where referee’s job is put under the scope. We will also retrain them on the basics and most importantly, take care of their welfare,” he added.
