Former Harambee Stars captain Dennis Oliech is working on a foundation alongside his childhood friend Atsiaya Kululu, popularly known as Pope.The Dennis Oliech Foundation, as it will be known as upon maturity of the idea, will be aimed at preaching peace and more so ahead of the 2022 general elections.Speaking during an interview on Churchill Show, the former Kenyan international said that he believes peace and football can and should go together, drawing a comparison from what Samuel Etoo did in Laikipia in 2010.”Pope (Atsiaya Kululu) and I want to do a peace foundation. Peace and football can go together. Samuel Eto’o once came for a peace mission in Laikipia. How come such a person came all the way yet we are here and we can do the same thing.
