Frank Ouna’s Musanze maul Marines

Musanze FC picked their biggest win in the Rwandan Premier League after trouncing Marines 5-1 at their Ubworoherane Football Stadium on Wednesday afternoon, an outcome that lifted them to sixth in the league table.Heading to the Thursday showdown, Musanze had not won in three outings. They had lost one and registered draws in the other two games. Marines on the other hand were not in their best form with just two wins in ten games so far this season.Six minutes into the game, Musanze went ahead through Ben Ocen who doubled his tally and the team’s advantage in the 19th minute. The rout was completed in stoppage time by Jean Luc Kwizera to hand Musanze their fourth and biggest win of the season.Musanze are coached by Kenyan coach Frank Ouna. The former Gor Mahia, Sofapaka, Wazito, KCB and Mathare United joined the team at the start of the season after he parted ways with the Slum Boys. He helped Mathare avoid what looked like an inevitable drop from the top tier last season.Next for Musnze is another home match against Etincelles who are bottom in the table.
