Biashara United head coach Patrick Odhiambo and his assistant Marwa Chamberi have been linked with a move to Tanzanian Premier League newbies, Geita Gold FC .United are currently struggling financially and the playing unit and technical bench have not received their dues for a couple of months now. Media reports in Tanzania have now linked the two with a switch to Keita who is currently ninth in the TPL table with eleven points after ten rounds of league matches.According to Mwanaspoti publication, both Odhiambo and Marwa were missing at the dugout during the team’s 2-1 defeat to Yanga on Sunday evening further fueling speculation that they indeed are heading out of the club. Omary Madenge, the club’s Technical Director oversaw the match as his team threw an early 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 to the league leaders.Kenyan players at the club also missed the match against Yanga. Baron Oketch and Saphan Oyugi were not included in the matchday squad. It is however not clear as to whether they are also contemplating leaving the cash-strapped club. He deputized Baraza until March 2021 when the former Kenyan international left the club for rival Kagera Sugar. Odhiambo then moved to United in May 2021 and retained the former Sony Sugar attacker as his assistant.Biashara who played in the CAF Confederation Cup this year are currently 15th in the table with nine points after ten rounds of league matches and will need to turn their fortunes are around soonest lest they will be battling the drop this season.
