Nairobi City Stars winger Rodgers Okuse says his team is going for maximum points against Gor Mahia on Thursday when the two sides face off at the Nyayo National Stadium.The two teams lost their last games and each will be seeking to bounce back when they meet in Nyayo. Gor went down 2-1 to Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu Stadium while City Stars lost 1-0 to KCB at the Ruaraka Grounds.On Thursday the two teams will face off with three points at stake and Okuse says they are going for the kill against the record league champions. We lost our last game to KCB and I think Thursday’s game is an opportunity for us to bounce back and get a positive result, on a good day, we can beat anyone and I am confident that we can a positive result in that game,” he told Mozzart Sport.On whether his team is under pressure to beat Gor, Okuse labeled the match as another league match that they are keen on winning in order to return to winning ways.“Gor is a big team and we definitely respect them but for us, it is just another league game. We are not under any pressure and we are going to approach it like any other game, the goal is maximum points and that is what we are going to try and achieve,” he added.The match starts at 3 PM.
