Teka who is poised to fill in Samuel Olwande’s shoes is likely to partner with either Boniface Onyango or Alphonce Omija at the heart of the defence. Muluya will be forced to select the best pair from the three centre backs as Olwande was ruled out for three weeks earlier in the week while Geoffrey Shiveka is down with illness. “We are aware that we haven’t won in our last three matches and can’t afford to watch the poor run persist. This is a match we have to win so as to finish the year well and draw closer to the top two teams,” said the former Nzoia Sugar player.Sharks skipper rues lapses in concentration for their recent rough patchSimilarly, Talanta will be seeking to get back to winning ways after playing AFC Leopards to a one all draw in their last match and the 2-0 loss suffered to Posta Rangers in the preceding round.The club’s head coach Ken Kenyatta however lamented that he didn’t have sufficient time to prepare for the fixture and the big number of players who will miss the duel thanks to injuries.Talanta lost the duo of Barrack Odhiambo and Anthony Gicho in the Rangers game and will miss three more midfielders according to the seasoned tactician.Blow for FC Talanta as Gicho and Odhiambo are sidelined until next year “The team had only one training session which was not enough to prepare for the game.
