The midseason Football Kenya Federation Premier League player transfer window is set to run from Sunday 9 January till Saturday 5 February 2022.This is after the government appointed Football Kenya Federation Caretaker Committee made the announcement concerning the official dates of the transfer period.“The January Player Transfer Window shall be opened on January 9th, 2022 and run to February 5th 2022,” the committee announced.Earlier on, there were doubts as to who will handle all the transfer business and legalities but the Aaron Ringera led body, in another statement to Division 1 clubs, confirmed that they will oversee all the business to do with the player transfers. Where next for King Jesse Were?“Clubs will submit their existing Player Lists prior to the transfer Window to enable processing of Player Cards.”The committee also noted that only players who will be cleared by the committee will be the ones to participate in the league.Among clubs that will be desperate to make signings in the short transfer window include AFC Leopards whose boss revealed that they are looking to make two to three new signings to help the young squad.“I hope we make signings in January. I would like to have two or three more signings and I already communicated that to the management long ago. We know we are producing some good football and we know which positions we require to go to the next level. The young players have done a good job but they need to learn. If we get some experience, the team will get better and better for sure,” Patrick Auusems, the coach remarked.Aussems calls for new signings at Ingwe
