Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic has named his team that will play friendly matches in Turkey, Iraq, and Bahrain. Cranes were initially set to feature in a series of friendly matches in the UAE but after the cancellation of flights from Uganda by the UAE government, FUFA had to reorganize its matches.The team will play Iceland, Botoșani, and Moldova in Turkey before traveling to Iraq for a friendly match against the hosts. The final warm-up match will be against Bahrain in Bahrain city.Micho has named a 44-man squad consisting majorly of players who play in the local league. Among them is the former FKF Premier League duo of Benjamin Ochan who used to play for AFC Leopards and Innocent Wafula, an ex Gor Mahia player. Both turn out for KCCA in the Ugandan Premier League. For Ochan, it is a recall after being overlooked for long.
