Immediate former Biashara United combative midfielder Shaphan Oyugi is likely to join Kenyan champions Tusker after unceremoniously severing ties with the Tanzanian Premier League outfit.Oyugi was among the contingent of Kenyan players who were lured by former Gor Mahia assistant coach Patrick Odhiambo to ditch local clubs for the Tanzanian outfit but hardly months after crossing the border, the grass has proved not be as green as anticipated.Biashara who represented Tanzania in the CAF Confederation Cup by virtue of finishing inside the top four bracket last season injected fresh blood from Kenya but their dried purses are understood to be the cause of the player exodus. Tusker who were active in the last transfer window are understood to have returned to the market after Teddy Osok suffered what appeared to be long term injury in their 1-0 win over Nzoia Sugar late last year.When reached for the comment, the former Kariobangi Sharks man disclosed that he had cut ties with Biashara United and was in hunt for a local club.
