Sofapaka’s head coach Ken Odhiambo is adamant that their hopes for a title this season, a second for Sofapaka, are still there as they are within reach of the current league leaders KCB.Batoto Ba Mungu are ninth on the log with 18 points accumulated from the 12 games they have played so far while KCB top the table jointly on points with Kakamega Homeboyz.Ahead of their Round 13 match against Ulinzi Stars on Saturday, Odhiambo is wary of the opponent having in mind that they have had a rough patch, which he thinks will make the match a tough duel.He is however optimistic that his side will bounce back to winning ways and continue their title march having suffered a setback in the hands of Bandari FC in the midweek fixture at Wundanyi where they lost by a solitary goal.”We are optimistic our title hopes are within reach because the team is six[seven] points off KCB who are at the helm of the log. We are facing a tough opponent tomorrow, they are not in a good run and that makes the Saturday fixture a tight one, nonetheless, we have had a good run despite the Tuesday setback I believe we should be able to get a positive result,” Odhiambo told the club’s portal.##EDITORS_CHOICE##The former Bandari tactician further outlined the importance of their match on Saturday, noting that it will push them forward to narrowing the gap between them and the leading pack at the top.”A good way to show character is by bouncing back after a setback. The match is very important for us because a win for on Saturday will have the team within reach of our competitors at the top,” he added.
