After being in charge of the sport for close to 10 months, the Cricket Normalization Committee has set Saturday 26th February 2022 as the Cricket Kenya elections date. The elections are set to take place at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani from 9.00 am with the Independent Elections Panel promising to share the calendar of its activities with the public in due cause.Sports CS Amb. Amina Mohamed appointed the Cricket Normalization Committee to lead an all-inclusive process that would see a return of normalcy in the Sport of cricket in Kenya back in March 2021. The Committee has achieved a number of milestones including the finalization of the draft constitution in conjunction with Cricket stakeholders, the International Cricket Council, former officials of Cricket Kenya and Regional Cricket Sports Organizations.At least 10 clubs or Cricket County Associations have been registered by the Committee with seven applications still pending.
