He is the only player that has left so far,” said Matsena. The 22-year-old signed a one-year deal with Gallants who were under the tutelage of former Harambee Stars head coach Sébastien Migné who had worked with him in the national team set up. The axing of Migné back in October 2021 for ‘insubordination and using abusive language’ towards the club’s Technical Director Harris Choeu further dwindled the hopes of Ovella featuring for Gallants. Ovella makes debut at new home in BotswanaOvella has since made his debut for Rollers in the who beat Prison XI 2-0 back on Tuesday, coming on as a late sub and dazzling with his fine performances on the left-wing. The former Kariobangi Sharks winger will hope to rediscover the form that saw him earn a move to Vasalund and feature for the National Team as a teenager.
