Bandari FC head coach Andre Casa Mbungo is concerned by his team’s wastefulness and has urged them to start utilizing the chances that they create in matches. The Dockers have been largely goal-shy this season with only 16 goals in 15 games to their name. Nine of their goals came in two matches against Mathare United, Bidco United, and FC Talanta. The team has been creating opportunities but converting them is slowly becoming a major issue for them and as a result, are losing ground in the title race in a season that most expected them to compete after finishing third in the FKF Premier League last season. In the last two games against Vihiga Bullets and Wazito they won penalties but their ever-efficient taker William Wadri was denied on both occasions. They picked one point in the two games.Mwisho wa mchuano: Tunapoteza mechi ya pili kwa kumi na nne tulizocheza.#BandariNiYetu pic.twitter.com/GkiVkfOfSd— Bandari Football Club (@BandariOfficial) January 20, 2022 The wastefulness is becoming an issue of concern for the Rwandese tactician who now says they have to start scoring goals. He also disclosed that it is something that they are working on and hopes that his team will be firing again soon.“We need to take the chances that we are creating because we are becoming too wasteful. In the last two games, all our attackers got good opportunities to score but they failed to convert them. We even got two penalties which we equally failed to take. It is an area that we are trying to work on,” he told the club media.Bandari will be back in action again on Monday. They will take on Wazito FC in the return leg at the Kasarani Annex starting from 3 PM.
