For a second time in three days, Bidco United and Gor Mahia played out to a one-all draw in an FKF Premier League match that was staged at the Thika Sub County Stadium on Sunday afternoonThe two teams had played out to a one-all draw in the first leg played three days earlier and it was expected that the Thika tie would be a closely fought one with both teams keen on bagging maximum points. After what was largely an uneventful 40 minutes of the game the match came into life in the final five minutes of the game. Bidco were awarded a spot-kick in the 40th minute which veteran Stephen Waruru calmly slotted home just as United thought that they would head to the break with an advantage, another penalty was awarded, this time against them and Samuel Onyango, who on Wednesday had scored another penalty against Anthony Akhulia’s men calmly slotted home.68’Bidco United 1-1 Gor Mahia#FKFPL #RadullLive— @RadullLive (@radulllive) January 23, 2022 The second stanza started on a high with both showing more attacking ambition.
