Former Tusker FC goalkeeper Arnold Origi has urged the custodians currently at the club to continue putting in the necessary effort and even go the extra mile in their trainings. The Norway-based shot-stopper was at his former home in Ruaraka on Saturday where he shared a training session with the goalkeepers as they went through their paces in readiness for their league match against Vihiga Bullets.🙌| A huge thank you to @origi_arnold who took time to share his wealth of experience with our keepers yesterday. A huge learning curve for the lads.#KenyaMilele #Brewers4Life pic.twitter.com/2OfKwkizhi— 🏆Tusker FC (@tusker_fc) January 23, 2022 Origi tipped the custodians to do better if they learn in their young age what he has learned at his advanced age, adding that despite being at the end of his career he is still learning.“If you want to achieve something that has never been done before, you need to work or train in a way that nobody does. If you do the same thing as everybody, you will be just like everybody. If you do a bit extra, then you stand a chance of achieving what nobody else has. I just want to instill in them the essence of good work ethic because I am towards the end of my career but I am still learning. If they do what I am learning now at their young age, then they will achieve more than even what I achieved,” Origi told the club’s portal. The Kenyan international featured for the Brewers in 2006 before turning pro with a move to Norway where he has spent more than a decade with six Norweigian sides before a short stint to Finland, then back to Norway to his current station Hødd.A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.Arnold Origi🇰🇪 Sydney Lokale🇰🇪 pic.twitter.com/Su8DKU1cyX— Harambee Stars (@Harambee__Stars) February 27, 2020 He was elated to be with the Ruaraka-based side after such a long time and to share with the current goalkeepers.“It feels good to be back after almost a decade and a half since the last time I was here. It was nice to be back and I feel really blessed to have been able to share the important goalkeeping knowledge I have with my peers. I feel great to have shared this information that has helped me develop as a goalkeeper and also achieve the dream of playing professional football in Europe. It is only right to come back home and share with the people who look up to me,” he added.
