Coach Ojienda quits fallen giants Shabana in a huff

Shabana FC head coach Robert Ojienda has left the club, eight months into the job, the tactician has announced.The youthful tactician announced his exit from the club on Sunday evening a day after his team lost to Kisumu All-Stars at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.It is not yet clear as what exactly triggered him to exit but reports indicate that the working environment at the club wasn’t conducive with a section of club office hostile towards the youthful tactician. He took to social media to announce his exit on Sunday while thanking the team for offering him the coaching opportunity.Shabana FC head coach Robert Ojienda has resigned. For the time we’ve been together have learned alot which added value to my career as a coach. l leave this great team today a very happy man going by the records that it’s better than l found it though the journey was to go beyond their current level(NSL),” read part of the post.He went on to wish the team well for the future.“It’s with great honour that l thank the management so much for the enormous support during my tenure in office, special thanks to my players both last season and this season you guys have a special place in my heart not forgetting members of the technical bench. I wish the team well in their future assignments. May Almighty God Bless Shabana FC,” he posted.He leaves Shabana in fifth position with 14 points after eight rounds of league matches.
