Elaborate Police dragnet nabs three Harambee Stars players

Kenya Police FC have confirmed the capture of three more seasoned players to boost their squad before the mid-season transfer window closes.The law enforcers have already added Eric Juma from Kariobangi Sharks, David Owino from KCB and Mathare’s Job Ochieng to their ranks and are set to further boost the team with more players.Team manager George Maelo has confirmed that they are set to sign Elvis Rupia who recently parted ways with Saudi Arabian side, Bisha FC, Paul Were who is a free agent after quitting Egaleo Football Club and Francis Kahata who is in the books of Ethiopia’s Sidama Coffee.“We will sign Elvis Rupia and Paul Were who are already training with the team. We also intend to bring Francis Kahata on board, he first however has to clear with his team in Ethiopia before we can proceed but we have an agreement in place with him and once he is cleared he will join us. They will be happy because we are building a team that will compete in the league. They are in for good entertainment,” he added.Meanwhile experienced striker John Makwatta has been loaned to AFC Leopards. The forward was not seeing much playtime at Police and they have now decided to let him rejoin Leopards until the end of the current season.
