Okumbi who acquired the former Gor Mahia last year said he as impressed with his recent form and encouraged him to keep the fire burning going forward. The former Mathare United head coach has had to over-rely on his wingers to shoulder the scoring burden and Otieno’s form will certainly come in handy in his plan to inspire the club to either fight for the league title or achieve a respectable finish. “I am happy with the way he is taking the scoring chances even though he is still miles away from being at his best.
