Nzoia Sugar Chairman Evans Kadenge believes Salim Babu is the right man to lead his team from the danger zone following his appointment on Friday. The Millers finally filled the coaching position at the club, nearly a month after Ibrahim Shikanda quit. Shikanda went AWOL on the eve of their match against KCB before letter informing the management that he had opted out of the job and wished the team well. After conducting interviews, the Millers settled on the Kisumu All-Stars coach who was unveiled on Friday afternoon. He takes over at a side that has so far picked just one league win and is just three points above the relegation zone and faces the huge task of turning the team’s fortunes around and moving them away from the red zone.Salim Babu appointed @nzoiasugarfc2 head coach pic.twitter.com/cU9IaASUTa— Rodgers Odhiambo (@rodgers_otienoo) January 28, 2022 Babu has previously handled Sony Sugar and Western Stima.
