French clubs eager to sign Erick Marcelo’ OumaAIK had lined up possible replacements for Marcelo but they have since made moves in the January transfer window with Ghanaian international Patrick Kpozo moving to Sheriff Tiraspol and Pierre Bengtsson joining Djurgårdens.The 25-year-old had an outstanding season for AIK as he scored a goal and provided five assists to help his club to a runner’s up finish, losing the title to Malmo by virtue of an inferior goal difference.In an initial interview that premiered at Jeff Kinyanjui’s YouTube channel, Marcelo revealed that French clubs are chasing after his signature. “My feature plan is to move to a bigger league and it is something that we are working on this January and we will see what happens.
