Kakamega Homeboyz left-back Thomas Wainaina has decamped to FC Talanta, the league leaders have confirmed.The defender has exited following the arrival of Evans Maliachi who crossed over from Talanta and made the left-back slot his own. Wainaina heads to the Ken Kenyatta side as a replacement for the set-piece specialist.Homeboyz coach Bernard Mwalala has confirmed Wainaina’s departure to Talanta and wished the former Nakuru All-Stars. Nzoia Sugar and Sofapaka man well.“It is true – Wainaina has left for FC Talanta. The agreement that we had with Talanta for Maliachi involved him (Wainaina) joining them. He is a good player and I am confident that he will perform well at his new club.
