Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia says he is impressed with the impact his new signings Eric Gichimu and John Nairuka are having on the team. The two players have been acquired during the current transfer window. Gichimu returned to the club after a short stint with Wazito FC while Nairuka, a former Mt. Kenya United FC, Ulinzi Stars and Posta Rangers player signed for the club after training with them for a couple of weeks. Both players have already featured for Bidco. They came on as subs in the two games against Gor Mahia played a week ago as Akhulia slowly ushers them into the team. The tactician is satisfied so far and says the pair have had a positive impact on the team. He expects them to get better with more sessions in the training ground.“Gichimu returned and we also acquired the services of Nairuka who had trained with us for a couple of weeks and I think they had a positive impact in the two games against Gor Mahia that they came on as subs. They still have a lot of work to do in the training ground in order to be a par with the other players and also understand how we play but so far I can say that I am happy and they will only get better,” he stated.FT. He says they have not lost any player and as such, they are not going to be too busy.“I don’t think that we will be signing more players because we have not lost any of our players. The mid-season window is also not the right time to make many signings because it can easily destabilize the team. The goal now is to keep improving the team and incorporate the two players that we have brought on board,” he added.Next for Bidco is an away match against AFC Leopards.
