Winger confirms AFC Leopards departure

Eugene Musilwa has confirmed that he has parted ways with AFC Leopards after the expiry of his short term contract with Ingwe. The winger returned to the den in November for a second spell. He however did not feature in any competitive game for the Patrick Aussems coached team and has now exited due to what he terms as lack of adequate playtime. In an interview with Mozzart Sport, Musilwa said that he had opted against extending his stay at the den due to lack of playtime and wished the team well.“It is true, I have left AFC Leopards and I want to thank and wish them well. I am currently a free agent. I left because as a player, playtime is paramount and I did not get that at Leopards, the coach was not fielding me and there was no point in me continuing being there,” he stated. The player further revealed that he has a couple of offers on the table and that he will sign for another team before the mid-season transfer window closes, he clarified that he will move to a team where he is guaranteed playtime.
