Meticulous Mwalala cautions against laxity ahead of Nzoia visit

Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Bernard Mwalala anticipates a tough game when his sides comes up against Nzoia Sugar in a league match at the Bukhungu Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Bungoma-based Miller travel to Bukhungu to take on the surprise league leaders with both teams determined to get a win from the game to further their courses. A win for Homeboyz will see them maintain their advantage at the top of the table while a Nzoia Sugar win will help move them further away from the drop zone.Nzoia recently appointed Salim Babu as their new coach and Mwalala has warned that the appointment could be a big boost for the Millers ahead of Bukhungu showdown.“This will not be an easy game because Nzoia have a new coach and when a club appoints a new coach players tend to step up in order to impress their new coach and most of the time such teams can cause you problems. I anticipate a very tough game I know they will come here to fight for a win and so we have to be at our best, there is no room for laxity in that game. We have to be focused for the entire 90 minutes,” he stated.Fixture Update:We will be at home to Nzoia Sugar FC on Sunday 6th, February.3PM Kick-Off.#MozzartBet#wearehomeboyz#AbanaBeingo pic.twitter.com/V1EsoB1xmM— Kakamega Homeboyz FC (@FcHomeboyz) February 2, 2022 Mwalala had earlier expressed his desire to lift the league title with Homeboyz and he maintains that they have to keep improving to have a chance of clinching the coveted trophy.“As I said before, we want to bring the league title to Western Kenya and as such we have to keep working hard both in training and in matches.
