Having scored just one goal in the last five games, Sofapaka head coach Ken Odhiambo has been left concerned by the profligacy of his forwards.Batoto ba Mungu are currently enduring a three-game goal drought with their lack of goals taking them on a five-game winless run.pic.twitter.com/9exYqI3mGo— Sofapaka FC (@FC_Sofapaka) February 6, 2022 Speaking after the barren draw against Kenya Police FC over the weekend, Odhiambo was left concerned by his side not finding the back of the net but was satisfied with the point.“It is a concern for us because you need to score goals to win your matches. Our progression upfront has been good, regardless of the goal drought. I believe we will achieve the goals in our subsequent assignments.Generally, I am satisfied with yesterday’s performance. We played well and we were entirely on top of the match. We really needed full points. Sadly, we had to settle for one point,” said Odhiambo. The recent slump has seen Sofapaka slip into the relegation dog fight after winning only five of their opening 16 games this season.ICYMI | Collated results from the #FKFPL matches played on Saturday and Sunday pic.twitter.com/nyXSfNexC8— FKFcaretaker (@FKFcaretaker) February 7, 2022 The former Bandari FC head coach also bemoaned the quality of officiating in the game against Police FC and called on changes to be effected.“I am disappointed with the level of officiating I witnessed on Sunday. I usually do not like to comment about officiating, but with all that I witnessed on Sunday, a lot has to change and if we don’t change and address the issue, then we are heading for a downfall,” added Odhiambo.
