Kenyan international Erick ‘Marcelo’ Ouma has left the door open for a possible departure from his Swedish side AIK despite most of European leagues having their transfer windows slammed shut. Marcelo is currently in pre-season training with AIK and recently admitted that a host of French clubs are interested in his services following a stellar season last campaign. I’m ready to take the next step. There have been a lot of offers, but the club has the last word. I can not demand to leave – they have explained the situation to me and I am happy to be here,” Marcelo told Sportbladet.The former Gor Mahia midfielder was seen by many as the best defender last season having provided five assists and one goal, helping the club to a runner’s up finish and missing the title on goal difference.
