Kenya tactician Francis Baraza who is in charge of Tanzanian side Kagera has been named January coach of the month after a good start of the year with the Millers.United started the month bottom of the table but have since moved to the sixth position as a result of the good shift that they put in the month of January.Kagera started the month with a 3-3 draw against Biashara United away from home; they then defeat Dodoma Jiji 2-1 away from home. This has been announced by the Tanzanian Football Federation.“Francis Baraza is the league’s January 2022 coach of the month,” read a brief statement shared on social media by the federation.Baraza joined Kagera Sugar in March 2021 from Biashara United. He went on to help the team avoid relegation from the league. He has since roped in former Sofapaka coach, John Waw as his goalkeepers’ trainer and the pair seeks to steer the Millers to even a better position in the league.The tactician, a former Kenyan international has previously coached Muhoroni Youth, Sony Sugar, Chemelil Sugar, and Western Stima FC. He has also served as an assistant coach at Tusker FC.
