KCB rope in Mathare United forward

Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side, KCB FC have completed the signing of John Mwangi from Mathare United as a replacement for David Simiyu who left the club for Kenya Police FC on a one-year contract.The winger cum striker becomes KCB’s third acquisition this window after the arrival of Sydney Lokale from Kariobangi Sharks and Hillary Wandera who joined the club from Tusker FC after his contract with the Brewers elapsed. He played for the club for three years.Mwangi joins the team as a replacement for Simiyu, the burly forward left the Bankers for Kenya Police FC. Simiyu made his Police debut on Sunday as a replacement for Elvis Rupia in a 0-0 draw with Sofapaka at Wundanyi.The winger’s signing is a boost for Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno’s side that will once again be in contention for the league title this season.
