The TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course once again plays host for the WM Phoenix Open.

Festivities for the “Greenest Show on Grass” started last Saturday with the Concert in the Coliseum. The first round of competition is Thursday. Brooks Keopka is back to defend his title.

The Phoenix Open was first played at TPC Scottsdale in 1987 and the 16th is now one of the more famous holes on Tour.

The Stadium Course, designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in 1986, ranks No. 5 in Arizona on Golfweek’s Best Courses You Can Play list for public-access layouts. It will play at 7,261 yards with a par of 71.
