Tusker FC midfielder Humphrey Mieno is delighted with the progress that the defending league champions are making and has backed the Brewers to get even better. The Brewers have won three of their last four games with the other ending in a draw. This is in sharp contrast to their early season form where they lost 6 of their first 12 matches of the season. They have also moved up the log to seventh points with 26 points, eight shy off leaders Kakamega Homeboyz.Mieno, one of the senior players in the Brewers camp believes his team is on the right track. He however warned against getting carried away urging his team to focus on one game at a time.“We had been struggling to get back-to-back wins but now we have managed to balance on the right track. We need to take games at a time and maintain our focus. Getting 10 points from the last four matches is a huge boost to the team because we had been struggling to get results but now I believe we are on the right track. We need to take a game at a time and maintain our focus and not let it get into our heads,” he told the club’s official website.🗒️| Mieno expects tough Ulinzi challenge🗣️| “They have been changing their style of play to try and keep more of the ball in possession and play short passes but we will be ready to tackle them”Read More:| https://t.co/jaqPlKfHUt pic.twitter.com/IBeBNY0xgb— 🏆Tusker FC (@tusker_fc) February 11, 2022 The midfielder pointed at confidence in the team and solidity at the back for the team’s current good run in the league.“We are now just looking at doing well in each subsequent game and slowly we are getting the confidence needed.
